2. Industrial Heritage
The Remar 16 February (railway workshop), the paper mill in Rozelor Park, the Florești Water Museum, the beer factory in Turda. … Astounding buildings, some of which are today unused or do not have proper functions. Industrial heritage is undoubtedly neglected, although we have some beautiful examples regarding the conversion of these buildings. The topic “Industrial Heritage” offers for discussion multiple topics, such as presenting good examples of revitalisation works, awareness of the special value of these buildings (including their equipment and machinery), and formulating a few proposals for rethinking these spaces for the benefit of the community.
