The aim of the project Partnership for valorisation the Romanian industrial heritage is attracting wider public attention on the value of unique and interesting industrial sites in the country. This has created a tourist route that includes 20 points of interest, 5 from each county (Cluj, Sibiu, Maramureş) and from Bucharest, based on data collected in activities of inventory and survey.

The 20 sites of this route have been selected as representative of the areas in which it is, and of the various branches of Romanian industry. There are testimonies of the Romanian industrial culture, in many cases with architectural, social and cultural values. Some are already tourist attractions, because these buildings were valorised like museums, others keeping their original function host specific technological spaces.
Unfortunately, some are in damaged state, in some cases becoming ruins, but appear on the route as an alarm signal for the future.
